The first cultural meeting of Mr. Wafaeezadah, the Minister of Information and Culture of Afghanistan, was held on a specified date at Bagh-e-Babur. This gathering was attended by representatives from governmental cultural institutions, non-governmental organizations active in the field of culture and heritage, as well as foreign cultural organizations.
During this scholarly meeting, various topics regarding the history and significance of Afghanistan’s cultural heritage were discussed. Special emphasis was placed on the historical and cultural value of both tangible and intangible heritage, highlighting the importance of preserving this heritage for future generations.
Participants also discussed the existing initiatives and innovations in the field of documenting and preserving cultural artifacts, and proposed plans to strengthen the protection of tangible heritage, such as archaeological sites and historical buildings, as well as intangible heritage, including customs, traditional arts, and indigenous languages.
